3rd Bank Indonesia International Seminar on Islamic Finance
“A New Phase of Islamic Finance: Capturing the Untapped Area to Improve the Quality of Economic Development”
Venue: Bali , Indonesia
Organizer: Bank Indonesia
I made two presentations at this the conference. The first talk at the conference was entitled “Economics of Norms: Focuses on Contrasting Norms of Capitalism and Islam“. Last talk at the conference was entitled “Macroprudential Policy for Islamic Finance” — this emphasized the need for a balanced approach to regulation based on internal, moral and spiritual dimensions.
